Introduction

My very first post...

I've been thinking about creating a blog for sometime now. I knew I wanted to have my own blog, but the question came..."What should I name it?". I adore all the creative names that people have given their blogs. Each name is a reflection of who they are. I wanted to choose a name that would somehow represent me. So I began to think about things;

my life - I'm married, have a toddler, have a love for my family and my religion, teach, and have moved across the globe.

my personality - I love shopping and all the things that relate to it (fashion, decorating, etc.), I'm a neat freak, I'm creative, I'm intelligent but definitely have "airheaded" moments, I'm positive, I'm friendly, and as a 30-year old, I can finally say that I'm beautiful without feeling conceited (and I mean that inside and out). ;-)

things that inspire me - faith, family, art, design, teaching, learning, deep thinking.

I also thought about all the things that I would write about such as; being a wife and mommy, all my shopping adventures, decorating my house, designing things, inspirational things, and the list goes on.

So when I considered all of these things, I thought to myself, "You know what? These are all the cool elements of being a girl.". And then it came to me....I am not just a girl, I'm a girly-girl, and proud of it!
