Disbelief, sadness, great memories....these were the feelings and thoughts that I had as I turned on CNN this morning to watch the coverage of Michael Jackson's death. And then, the kids, his kids, I hope they're okay and someone is comforting them. Kids are so fragile, it's really up to us adults to help children learn how to live this short life. Remember Michael as a kid?

What an amazing artist. One of the things I love most about his music is that I feel it is REAL art. And of course you can not just sit and listen, his music moves you, and most times I mean literally, you just wanna bust a move when you hear songs like Thriller. But many of his songs move you with deep meanings, songs that actually mean something.
So to one of the most influential icons of our time, may you rest in peace. You will always be remembered for your amazing talent and your kind heart.

Didn't Michele love him? She was the first person I thought of! I didn't care for his music later on but you're so right, you can't help but be moved by his music!
ReplyDeleteI know, isn't it crazy? It doesn't seem possible. It's the music we all grew up with. Maybe how we feel about him is how my mom thinks of Barry Manilow. (Okay, maybe not quite the same. hehe.)
