owl obsession

While I was visiting at my Dad and Stepmom's house this summer, I noticed this owl trivet on their buffet similar to this one:

I don't know why, but I can't get it out of my head. I keep thinking it would be one of those odd little vintage pieces that would just fit somewhere in my house. I'm not even sure where but I'd find a place. Then as I've been browsing around online, anything with owls seems to grab my attention. Why? I really have no idea other than it's something I must like. And come to think of it, I did just buy a cute tank with an owl on it right before summer. Hmmmm...do I have a secret owl obsession?
