- pita bread (you can use any size, you can make mini pizzas with mini size or cut into triangles if you use a bigger size).
- cream cheese
- shredded mozzarella
- diced tomatoes
- chopped green peppers
How to make it: Lay pita bread on a baking sheet. Spread cream cheese on the pitas. Add tomatoes and peppers. Top with mozzarella. Bake until cheese is melted and bread is slightly crispy around edges.
Notes: You can play around with cheese and toppings. I usually don't use peppers, but I love adding sliced olives. Just like pizza, the toppings are a matter of preference. I don't know the actual temp or time, sorry. I use a med-low temp and then keep checking until it's finished.
Here's a picture (I will confess, the housekeeper made this one):
Enjoy!
P.S. I'll try to take more pictures of Ramadan food. Of course, Ramadan food is not only for this month. It can be made any time of year. It's kinda like Christmas cookies can be made all year around, but it's a special thing during the holidays.

yum, what a great idea.
