not so gaga

I don't like to blog about celebrities. Although I keep up with most things in Hollywood (thanks to the media shoving it in our faces day to day), I could care less about celebrities' personal lives. I don't care if Britney did or did not wear underwear. I don't care if Angelina has a baby bump (she's either pregnant or actually acted like a human and ate, duh!). And if Beyonce doesn't want to discuss her marriage in public, let the poor girl be.

BUT...there has been one celebrity that has been bugging me. So much so that I must let it out. Lady Gaga.

Am I the only person who does not think she is cool? I will admit, her tunes are fun and catchy. But I can't stand to watch any videos. I wonder if she goes through her junk cabinets at home thinking "Hmmmm, I wonder what I can wrap around my body for my next video."

Now, don't misunderstand. I love and admire individuality and uniqueness. She has every right to think, say, and do as she pleases (as long as no telephone cords are hurt in the process). But that doesn't mean that I have to be a fan.

It is a shame though....when people have talent but use it in all the wrong ways. For all I know, she could be a very sweet girl. When I see pics of her, I almost feel sad for her. Like there's this girl under all that lace and wire that is hurting. Hurting so much that drawing attention to herself (in weird ways) makes her feel better. I wonder what her real story is.
