So I will just have to suck it up, go on Saturday, and get started.
One cool thing is that my school is pretty relaxed about bringing our children with us. We are a school after all. And most teachers' children are also students at our school. Little guy will be attending Lower KG this year, which is the 2nd year in the KG building. He completed Pre-School (1st year) last year. Students will begin one week from Saturday so that means no class for little guy this coming week. However, rather than him staying home, I can bring him along with me. This is great as it preps him for the following week which will include early bedtimes and very early wake-ups. He actually wants to go back to school. God love him!
I found this cute and very organized picture last week online...
Is that not cute? It reminds me of school lunches that I'll have to soon pack again for school days. I do everything the night before, we have zero time in the morning to be worrying about packing lunches. They are pretty strict about the food the children bring. No junk food. See those Oreos above? Nope, not allowed for little guy. But the rest would be perfect, if little guy liked all of that, which he doesn't. I have one picky eater, who is slowly but surely improving. For litte guy, I pack something like this:
~ sandwich, pizza, or chicken nuggets
~yogurt
~ fruit (cut up apples or oranges) or veggies (cut up cucumbers)
~ snack (pretzels, popcorn, animal crackers, or something similar)
~ two milk boxes, and one juice box (real juice, no sugar drinks)
~ one bottle of water
Because little guy stays at school until I'm finished, I have to make sure he has enough snacks and drinks to last him all that time.
So anyway, I'm kind of rambling here but I do in fact have a purpose to this post. It's to get myself motivated for a new school year. We have to start sometime, so Saturday it shall be. Wish me luck. ;)

Have fun with the new school year!
