So what if someone looks different than you?
So what if someone is from a different place than you?
So what if someone believes in something different than you?

We are all human.
We all have hearts.
We all shed blood.
We all feel.
We all have joys.
We all have pains.
We all belong.

Why is it so hard for some to grasp?
Different is okay.
How are some able to hate much more than they are able to love?
Ignorance and hatred are diseases that can spread ever so rapidly among even "knowledgeable" people.
You would think we would all get that by now.
You would think that we would've learned by now.

I pray for the day when people can stop hating.
I pray for the day when people realize that they can learn amazing things from those who are different from them.
I pray for the day when we stop hurting each other, and instead start helping each other.
