My dear little blog,
I am so sorry for neglecting you. I've been rather busy and have not had the time to tend to you. Horrible, I know. But I have not forgotten you. Here are five things that have distracted me...

Back to work...Being a teacher is no easy task. A new curriculum, planning a syllabus, lesson plans, books, activities, learning the names of 75 new students, and a million other things...work does not end as I exit the school. I spend hours at home on work stuff. I'm truly hoping that within a couple of weeks I'll have my system down and find more free time.

Little guy's "Back to School"...We've been through a little drama this year. It all started with finding out that little guy's teacher had resigned and we were greeted (kinda) by her replacement on the 1st day of school. :( As a mother who loves her child with all her heart and has incredibly high standards for him, I had difficulty accepting the new teacher and her classroom. It may sound snobby without all the details to explain, but out of respect I will not go into great detail. It was not personal, it was strictly on a professional level. After much dismay and a lot of fighting, I was able to get little guy transferred to another class. His teacher is also new, but she has that teacher "thing" that I look for. We are still working through some things, but little guy is doing MUCH better now.

Internet Connection...For some reason, our wireless connection has been acting up. I've had to restart our modem almost everyday and a couple of those days it still did not work. Hard to believe we had life before the world wide web.

Youtube...Strange reason, right? Well little guy has become addicted to watching Thomas the Train videos on Youtube. He seems to have my laptop more than I do. Is a four year old too young to own a laptop of his own?

Priority List...Part of being a grown up is learning how to juggle life. Between being a wife, a mother, and a teacher, I have many things to juggle. I know that going online will take more than five minutes. So if I don't have time to spare I must be disciplined and stay offline. It's not easy. I love reading my favorite blogs everyday. I love writing posts on my own blog. But I must consider this as an extra curricular activity, something that can not be number one on my priority list.
That all being said, I would really like to try to visit blogworld more often. I will try my best. :)
