celebrity talk

I don't normally write about celebrities but I do write an occassional mention here and there. I've had a little extra time since I've been sick and I clicked on the Omg! from Yahoo article today. It came up on my homepage and since it mentioned my girl Christina I had to check it out.

The more I looked and read the more irritated I got. An individual must consider themselves pretty high and mighty to critize the attire of celebs all day. It's pretty rude if you ask my opinion. I had to come to the defense of a few girls. ;)

They critized Christina...again. For goodness sake, she's an individual. She doesn't care what you think. That's something I like about her. I'm not a fan of real fur, but is this outfit really that bad? I think not.

Kylie Minogue. Ok, first I love her name...lol. But secondly, I don't think this outfit is bad. Who cares if it's "too floral". She looks well kept and put together.

Oprah. You know she must be doing great things if all they can find to critize is her outfit, which I think looks nice on her. Just sayin.

Selena Gomez. This is a darling dress. I love it and totally disagree with the bad comments.

There was a recent uproar over a girl's outfit that I did have to agree with however. Katy Perry in her Sesame Street clip. Sesame Street has a very difference audience, and people need to be aware of that.

And since we're doing some celebrity talk here, I must mention something about one of my all time fav singers. Selena. My family and close friends know how much I love this girl. She was tragically killed in 1995 (murdered by the president of her fan club). But I was a huge fan, and still am. I have most of her CDs, most of which are in Spanish. RIP Selena.

When I was in 12th grade I was sooo excited to hear the Selena movie was out. I went with all my friends to see it. That is when I first learned about Jennifer Lopez. I was very familar with Selena, her music, her moves. I was fascinated with the way Jennifer Lopez mastered all of that for the film. I became an instant fan.

And I thought it was so nice to see JLo recently with her little ones in her new campaign. :)

Ok. That's all my celebrity talk for now. Promise. :)
