hair appt.

This time last year my hair was super short.  It fell just above my chin, and that's the shortest it's ever been.  While I like the ease and time saving that I get with a short cut, I decided to let it grow out for a change.  I only had it trimmed a couple of times in the last year which I don't recommend.  It should be trimmed every 8 weeks but I can never find the time to get to my salon which is far from my home (I'm trying to find a salon that's closer to home, but I'm sooo picky).  I can't believe how long it has grown.  But it is LONG overdue for a new cut of some kind.  I hate when my hair is almost all one length and hangs down longer.  It does nothing for my face.  So I decided to go for something that would keep a bit of length but would add some fun.  I've been cruising around online in search of a pic that I can use to show my stylist.  I found one.  Only one...lol.

Mine will differ in that I'm currently a brunette.  But I like this cut.  I can still do a ponytail or clippy if need be.  But when it's down it's not boring, those layers add nice interest.  I may go a tad shorter with the shortest piece, making a more defined side swept look.
