It may appear that I've been a blog slacker. However, my laptop broke on me last week and has been in the shop ever since. It'll take a good 10 business days until it's repaired and ready for pickup. So in the mean time I have to use hubby's laptop whenever he's not using it and whenever little guy is not fighting me for it (he's addicted to Youtube, nothing bad I promise, all Thomas and cartoons...lol).
Yesterday was Eid, the Islamic holiday that marks the end of Ramadan. I wrote about how we celebrate Eid here. This year was really tough because I had ZERO hours of sleep. And we had to be at the first house to visit relatives by 8:30am. By the time we got home at noon we all were exhausted (hubby and little guy slept the night before but for only three hours). We all crashed and took a VERY long and deep sleeping nap. It was wonderful, kinda like the first sleep after a long trip.
Today was easier in terms of social obligations. Nothing early, just some evening visits. And then hubby, little guy, and I went out to eat. We had Lebanese and the stuffed grape leaves were soooo good that I got an addition order to go. And they are all that I can think about. So this pregnant Mama will probably be polishing those off VERY soon (like in 5 minutes). ;)
Tomorrow, we'll go in the evening to visit a few more relatives and then life will go back to normal. And I really hope our sleeping and eating schedules do too. We've been living the life of owls, up all night and sleeping all day. I'm ready for some normalcy again. It's just around the corner. I go back to work in a few days and little guy will start school after a week. And another school year shall begin.
Hopefully, I'll have my laptop back soon. I was planning to do some posts from our summer trip. Until then, have a good one. :)
