This is going to be a short post because I'm so exhausted.
Today I woke up at 3am with my little guy. I actually felt rested though because I went to bed at 6pm the night before. As I was getting ready for work little guy fell back asleep (must be nice) so he stayed home today. He was going with me to work everyday this week. Anyway, so I get home and he is up, which was a good thing. One, I missed him and two, I had things to get done.
So after lunch, I went out to buy my new housekeeper some much needed things. After an hour of "souk" shopping*, we then head to the grocery store. I had many things on my list; regular grocery/household items, things for the new housekeeper (toiletries, etc.), and things for work. Half way through I wanted to quit and go home but I commanded myself to suck it up and just get it done. My little guy was sitting in the cart with his heavy little eyes and his head bobbing, he was very tired by this point. So we finish up the shopping, checked out, and got the heck outta there. Little guy crashed in the car and has been asleep since. I on the other hand organized my stuff and sat down to check out the blog world.
So now all I want to do is go to bed. But first, I have a few odds and end to do. I'm gonna go and get them done as quickly as possible and get some much needed sleep. Good night! :-)
*"souk" is Arabic for mall/plaza, however I use this word for the older traditional market places here in Saudi. You can find almost anything and everything there. And you can bargain prices which I stink at. I think things should just have a price on them and that's that. But some women, including my MIL, are awesome at this skill. The market place is outdoors. Although, I think this kind of shopping can be fun sometimes, it can also be exhausting (today it was exhausting).
