Okay, I do not need this 1st item, but how perfect for someone starting out or a newly married couple? This set has all the main things one needs to start their kitchen:
dish towels, set of 4, $2.99
I use an egg slicer to make a simple and tasty sandwich. Boil a couple of eggs, slice them in a slicer, place them into a roll of any kind, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and top with a little hot sauce. Perfect for breakfast.
egg slicer, $2.99
I am in major need for some kitchen brushes. Great for brushing egg/milk onto pastries, or brushing marinate on meat of choice. These look pretty cool.
brush set, $3.99
Who doesn't need a utensil set? This set is so cheap you can stock up.
3 piece kitchen utensil set, 79 cents (yep, under $1)
I love my Ikea can opener. Unfortunately it's been giving me a hard time, I may need a new one. I don't need an electrical one because I don't have all that many canned items that need an opener. Most things have the pull tab thing. So I opt for the hand held opener instead.
can opener, $2.99
I had a pair of tongs, however little guy stole them to use for playing (You can only imagine). But it's cool, because I like these Ikea ones better.
tongs, $3.99
I love this colorful collection from Ikea. They have many things in this collection but these are the three that I need (or just want)...
scissors, set of 3, $1.99
funnels, set of 2, &1.49
I'm not a baker but I do like to make desserts from time to time. As a matter of fact I make 1-2 desserts each week as part of my menu plan here at home. Here are a few things I need...
cake slicer and knife, $3.99
mixing bowl, $7.99
rubber spatula set, $4.99
muffin tin, $9.99
I found the cutest plastic bags. I hope they carry them in our Riyadh store.
plastic bags, 50 count, $2.99
Last but not least, I don't need these, but I do want them. Love these kitchen tins...(btw, just because they're called kitchen tins does not mean we can't use them in other places for other things; office supplies, bathroom supplies like cotton balls and Q-tips, band-aids, accessories, jewelry, keys, loose change, etc, etc, etc!)...
kitchen tins, set of 3, $2.99
There's so much more that I need (and love) from Ikea, but this is my list, for today anyway ... :)
Btw, if you don't have an Ikea near you, like in my hometown for instance, check out their website, you can order some things online.
