first crush

Little guy has his first crush. I know, he's only three! But he has spotted that special someone and felt comfy enough to tell hubby and I about her. :)

We have a Nickelodeon channel here in Saudi (the website is called nickarabia.net). They bring a lot of popular Nick shows and play them in Arabic. I love that little guy can watch Dora and Wonder Pets in Arabic. In the evenings our Nick channel brings a few shows in English (with Arabic subtitles). Every night at 8pm they play two back to back episodes of Drake and Josh. I know the show ended in 2009 but little guy and I are big fans.

We sing the opening song together each time it plays. And little guy knows all the words. He gets his microphone out and jams. He's quite good, I must say.

The show is about two stepbrothers going through life. And they have a cute but evil little sister named Megan. And Megan is little guy's first crush! His way of breaking it to me was "Mama, I love Megan." Aw, how cute. :) Hubby and I playfully tease him about Megan now. I'm not sure what it is about her but I'm thinking it's a combination of her being cute and evil. I think little guy likes all the pranks she plays on her brothers. She's a clever one, just like my little guy...lol.

In all seriousness, I do think Miranda Cosgrove is a really cute girl. I like little guy's taste. It's crazy to think that, God-willing, I will one day have a daughter-in-law. I may have to conduct interviews and background checks. But once she's cleared, I'll love her as my own...;)

Too bad "Megan" is a little too old for little guy...lol. Thanks Nickelodeon for such entertaining shows. I've been watching since I was young and now I get to watch with my little guy next to me. And the cycle of life continues....:)
