Yeah, that is so not me. I am a very opinionated person. I'm not shy to speak my mind. I'm not one to be easily silenced, especially if I feel passionate about something. But I speak with dignity and class and always try to be open-minded.
Today at work we got into discussions about religion and politics, the two big "no-no's". We're brave like that. :) So of course it ended with me being bugged. I just can not understand why people can't open up their minds more. I mean, is it really that difficult? Is it that hard to accept that people may believe in different things. We are all human, right? As long as you're a good person, with good intentions, and trying to do good on this earth, I feel is it between you and God what your beliefs are.
I hate when people judge each other. I hate when people discriminate. I hate when people think they're better than others.
A good human being has tolerance for others and strives for peace. That was what I was trying to get across to my colleagues today. And darn it, I will not keep my mouth shut about something I feel so passionate about!
