It says, "After a busy day, your body needs a rest. It has been thinking, moving, and working very hard. While you are asleep, your body has a long rest. You need to get plenty of sleep to stay healthy. When you wake up, you are ready for a new day."
So simple. So true. And after another long work week of not enough sleep these words really stood out to me. Why do I not make sleep a priority? I'm not saying I want to sleep all day. I'm just saying that I want my needed 8 hours.
I must work on this. And I must start now. I'm in my early 30's. If I don't learn how to care for myself now, what will happen as I get older?
So, I will finish up this post and get some well deserved and much needed zzz's. Goodnight. :)
