Today, little guy and I woke up early and headed to the mall. Now, when I used to work at the mall, I used to think that people who did this were nuts. I couldn't understand why they weren't at home, in their beds, sleeping in. But now, as a mother of a little one who thinks waking up with the sun is the way to go, I fully understand. And can I just say that going shopping in the morning has it's advantages. There are few people out, the traffic is smooth sailing, and there's this sort of calm feeling in the air. I rather enjoyed our little trip today. By 12 noon we were done.

One of the places we went to was Skechers. I was in need of some brown shoes for work. As a teacher who is on her feet all day, comfy shoes are a must. I bought these...

And then little guy went to his section, which is funny because he's not the shopping type (unless it's toy shopping of course). He found these cool shoes that light up...

So I thought, okay, cool, a pair for me and a pair for little guy. So I go to pay and the sales guy informs me that there's a sale. Buy two, get one free. Score! I was super happy because I saw about ten pairs of shoes that I wanted. Because I just bought little guy a new pair a few weeks ago, I decided to actually do something nice for myself and pick out the third pair for me. This is what I chose...

Also a good pair I can wear to work, but also for other things. You can dress them up while having the comfort of sneakers.

I asked when this really sweet sale will end and they have not been given a date. I am so tempted to go and buy 3 more (and after going to their website, I have found like a 100 more that I like). ;)

Is this sale going on the US as well?
