i'm still here :)

Oh, blog.  I have not forgotten you.  It's just been a bit crazy for me and my time is limited.  What have I been up to you ask?

PREGNANCY...I used to blog at night, after little guy would go to sleep.  But these days, I seriously cannot keep my eyes open after 8 or 9pm.  So, I listen to my body and sleep soon after little guy's bedtime.  It helps me to wake up early and survive a day at work, but it leaves little time for extra things like the blogworld.  I've had some appts sinced I last blogged.  And the problems I mentioned on my pregnancy blog a few wks ago have improved, so we're feeling better about all of that.

WORK...ugh.  Work is keeping me sooo busy, not to mentioned sooo annoyed.  I will not bore you with all the details, but I feel very unhappy with my school at this time.  It's sad because it is one of the top schools here, but management needs to polish up it's act.  But...even though my students started out as a wild bunch, progress has been made.  So, that is making some of work worthwhile.  I just hope they don't forget all my life lessons during my maternity leave this year.

FAMILY...We've had lots of things going on in my family and hubby's family.  People sharing wonderful news of pregnancy, the births of new babies (check out my cousin's beautiful new boy here, a miracle baby, like my little guy), and sadly, some deaths.  We've also had family with news of medical problems and some good news of new employement and good opportunties.  Here at home, we've been busy with family things too.  Little guy is in his final year of KG which means more homework.  But he's loving school, so I'm happy about that.  Also...

BABY...We've begun shopping for our new baby, who is expected to arrive in Feb.  And we found out recently that we are expecting another....BOY!  :)  We honestly didn't have a preference.  But I'm happy for little guy to have a baby brother.  Awhile back I made a list of things baby brother will need, and each weekend we go out and tackle some of that list.  We want things to be ready by the time we reach the 3rd trimester.  With little guy coming 7 weeks early, we don't trust due dates or that 9 month theory.  ;)

FRIENDS...Some of my friends have gone thru changes as well.  I'm losing my work partner who has been offered a great position elsewhere.  I will truly miss her and it'll be hard finding someone to fill her shoes.  But I'm happy for her, as a friend, for this new opportunity.

LIFE...We have a new driver which has meant training and new beginnings.  So far he's good.  I just had to tell him to slow down.  My old driver drove way too slow, so I'm thinking there's no happy medium...lol.  My housekeeper will be going on vacation for 2 months.  I will have to hire a temp during this time.  It'll be the last 2 mths of my pregnancy and I will need the help.  Did I ever mention that I hate the fact that Saudi life requires hired help.  We've had to do paperwork for this upcoming vacation and we had to buy things like her plane ticket.  A housekeeper requires lots of money and paperwork.  I sure hope she comes back, as she has promised.

So there is a little wrap-up of my busy life.  Sorry, no pictures this time.  I'm hoping to find some time to share some pictures from our summer vacation on here.  I just need a few more hours each day....:)
