anthropologie love

I've only recently discovered Anthropologie. Interestingly enough this company started in 1992 in my home state of Pennsylvania. Go figure. I'm in love with this company. Their prices are a bit high but I love their unique pieces. If you haven't checked out one of their stores or their website, you have to take a look here. They have clothing, accessories, bags, shoes, and even things for your home(which I plan to do another post about in the future)...how fabulous is that?!? I did a little browsing today and here are some unique pieces that I would buy up if a) I had the funds and b) I had a store near me or I was able to order from Saudi - they don't ship here yet, perhaps that's a good thing for my wallet ;-)

plaza cardigan

love the color, love the ruffles, love the sleeves

havana sweatercoat

love the drawing-like design, love the splash of color thanks to the cuffs and sash, love the uniqueness

open wing heels

these are so ugly that i love them, i can just image all of the outfits i could create around these

kousa berry bag

love the deep color for fall, love how it looks all pretty and wrapped up with a beautiful bow

petticoat peep-toes

i don't know why but i'm loving ruffles, how fabulous to have them on your shoes?

topsy-turvy wallet

my owl fetish has me loving this wallet as well as the next item...

horned owl tote

this has an owl theme in a very subtle way...it also reminds me of the 70's...very cool

pond lily scarf

i'm not a huge fan of the color, although it could definitely work with the right outfit...i am loving the feminine and creative design

rosebud strawberry lip balm

when i was little there were these lip balms that came in small rectangular tins, the tins would slide open and inside would be two flavors of lip balm, i loved them so much...this reminds me of them...i also love the vintage-like tin

So there's my little weekend edition of some retail therapy. Now...I'm going to go watch Shrek for what I believe to be the one millionth time (they're not kidding when they say kids like repetition!). ;-)
