japan

I must blog about Japan.
Our world has suffered many natural disasters. And the recent disaster in Japan is one of many that stays with me. Anytime I feel depressed, anytime I want to moan and complain, I remember, I remember the images of Japan and what people are going through there, right at this very moment.
I was looking through recent images today and wanted to share a few...

A country's flag (for most) is a symbol of pride. Seeing your country's flag waving in the air, even among all the devastation, gives hope.

This little guy touched my heart. He's not going to let all of this stop him from being a kid. I wish I could give him a great big hug and tell him how brave and strong he is (and how cute he is too!).

These little girls are sooooo cute! This is where they have to stay and this is what they have to eat. Oh how I wish I could bring them cupcakes with sprinkles, dolls to play with, and lots of hugs.

This picture of a monk praying for the victims touched me. No matter what religion you believe in, praying is what we should all be doing.

We haven't forgotten you Japan. May God watch over and protect you, and bless you too.
