Once upon a time there was a sweet American family.  They were blessed with three children.  Their third child was born with Down Syndrome, and so this became something near and dear to their hearts.

One day the Mom discovered the picture of a precious little orphan boy, who was given up simply for being born with Down Syndrome.

Upon showing her husband the little boy's picture, the couple decided that this little boy was meant to be a part of their family.  They made the commitment to adopt him.

There was just one tiny little snag in their plans.  The little boy, Davis, lived far away in Eastern Europe.  A mountain of paper work and a lot of money was needed in order to bring him home.  So, some wonderful people donated gifts for a HUGE giveaway to help the family reach their financial goal.  For every $10, one entry would be given.  And for every $50, 20 entries given.  So, donators would not only have the blessing of giving, but also be given the chance to win some fabulous prizes (including an iPad 2, a $100 Amazon gift card, and a HUGE selection of Etsy goodies).
