Last month, when little guy was sick in the hospital (with rotavirus), there were definite moments of boredom (for him and for me). So, what to do when you're bored? Whip out the camera of course (well, the camera on my phone...lol). I took many pictures of little guy, and even a couple of videos of him playing with his hospital bed. He thought those buttons were quite fun...lol. I also took a few shots of the view from the window.
Our home is like 2 minutes from this hospital. It's a new area, and still developing. The city of Riyadh is growing towards the north at a very fast past. This area was once desert. The value of properties here have skyrocketed.
It's so hard to see, but off in the distance are buildings and homes. Homes are usually a color of beige as to not attract the sun. They're also flat. Some newer homes have more creative rooftops. Any buildings/homes in grey are still in the process of being built. All houses and buildings are build with concrete. Can you see the tall building to the right? That's a new skyscraper being built. Riyadh is ever growing.
Sunsets are beautiful everywhere. This was so much better in person. But you know. I'm not a photographer, and this was with my camera phone, so it is what is it...lol.
I like our area. Just a short drive to main parts of the city. It's not crazy busy like other parts of the city. But, that's slowly changing. With all the building and developing, more and more people are now living and working in our area. But, life is life. :)
Happy Sunday!
